Jibacoa Beach is a tourist center located on the north coast of the province of Mayabeque, Cuba; one of the vacation centers par excellence for Cubans. It has resorts and several campsites with good quality. The excellent beaches in this area are famous for having crystal clear, shallow waters. Mayabeque

Mayabeque is one of the 15 provinces of the Republic of Cuba, created on August 1, 2010. It is the smallest in the country with the exception of the city of Havana and the one with the smallest population. San José de las Lajas is also the least populated provincial capital of Cuba. The province limits to the east with Matanzas, to the south with the Gulf of Batabanó, to the north with the Strait of Florida and Havana and to the west with the Province of Artemisa. The first founding site of the town of San Cristóbal de La Habana was found in the territory in 1514, later moved to the north coast to the port of Carenas.
